**Days & Nights Available**
- Provides non-emergent medical transport for patients discharged from inpatient care to discharge destination.
- Utilizes necessary medical equipment to maintain patient care and status during transport. Safely delivers patients to discharge destination and communicates effectively between facilities.
- Provides emergent medical care when needed within BLS guidelines. Communicates with the medical care facility receiving the patient about the patient’s condition, status, and arrival time.

**Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required**:

- High School Diploma/GED required
- Emergency Medical Technician-Basic Certification or Paramedic by the Kentucky Board of EMS required
- Valid Kentucky Motor Vehicle Operator’s License required
- Valid Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) through the American Heart Association required
- Other certifications and specialty training as required by the Kentucky Board of EMS
