An internship is a supplement to a degree programme. If you have definitively completed your degree programme, an internship is not possible.

You will complete your internship in Evonik's central process engineering department (TE-VT). This is where new processes and technologies are developed and a large number of processes and plants for various business units are optimized. As a dynamic team, Process Engineering offers excellent opportunities to get involved, gain an impression of opportunities within the company and develop personally and professionally.

**Responsibilities**:
- Development of process control strategies, e.g. advanced process control with multi-variable controllers, including the associated development of dynamic models for process plants- Online optimization of plants using thermodynamic and/or statistical models- Information technology integration of process, operational and corporate management levels in production plants- Plant optimization from process analysis to implementation in interdisciplinary teams

There are often several projects to choose from. If you contact us at an early stage, about 3 months before your desired start date, stating your main areas of interest, we will have enough time to coordinate an interesting field of activity with you.

**Requirements**:- Good command of English- Knowledge of basic data software (MS Office) and simulation software (Matlab)- Strong teamwork and communication skills- Initiative, sense of responsibility, flexibility
