Customer Solutions & Innovation (CSI) is DHL's cross-divisional commercial and innovation unit. We are responsible for managing about 100 of DHL's largest and most strategically important customers providing them with sector expertise, best in class account management and most innovative products & solutions.

**Tasks**:
The Vice President (M/F/x) Marketing leads the DHL CSI Marketing strategy, agenda and delivery model for DHL. He/She leads and supervises the development of the cross-divisional, global sectors, Innovation and overall CSI marketing and communication strategic roadmaps based on the divisional and global sector business and marketing priorities working closely with the global sector presidents, divisions, Corp Comms, Head of Innovation Center, Global Head of Innovation Trend Research and DHL CCO.

Based on the roadmaps, he/she drives marketing and communication tactics and activities with an integrated approach, measures and ensures effectiveness to achieve the highest business impact.

The VP Marketing supervises and leads the development of high impact marketing campaigns and tactics endorsed by the CSI Senior Management and the GCB. He/She builds and leads an impactful marketing delivery organization and professional sales support structure for x-DHL accounts and leads the global CSI marketing teams as well as the virtual DHL marketing community for sectors and innovation marketing.

**Principal Accountabilities**:

- Lead and supervise development of sector marketing strategies in close alignment with Sector Development and provide state of the art marketing support for DHL sectors, X-DHL global accounts, strategic products and innovation agenda, supported by Corporate Communications
- Lead and supervise development of DHL Innovation marketing roadmap, branding & messaging contributing to DHL positioning as Innovation leader in the logistics industry, and CSI as Innovation engine within DHL Group
- Work closely with Global Sector Presidents, Innovation senior management, divisional marketing heads and Corporate Communications to develop impactful marketing strategies as well as ensure efficiency and consistency of marketing execution
- Communicate and drive go-to market of x-DHL (sector) value propositions and ensure integrity of brand and consistency of message in communication activities/material
- Hold responsibility for CSI customers communications and marketing activities including sector marketing roadmaps
- Lead and supervise content creation, marketing operations and market intelligence to achieve objective of driving and executing external communication and marketing activities as well as equipping sector teams with targeted and actionable insights
- Recommend and execute promotional opportunities to drive awareness and market penetration
- Steer and approve marketing budgets (direct and indirect)
- Ensure professional, globally synchronized, and effective best-in-class processes for marketing activities, processes, and customer communication
- Oversee layout, production and distribution of marketing and communication collaterals
- Establish and lead relationship with marketing and communication agencies
- Effectively lead direct and indirect marketing team globally
- Build close relationships with other functions of CCO organization, with Divisions and with Corporate Communications to drive consistent marketing activities across the Group

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:

- Master Degree in business, marketing communications or equivalent
- At least 10 years of extensive global or regional marketing experience
- At least 8 years of management experience
- Experience in logistics or other service B2B industry
- Extensive Project & program management experience
- Experience in leading (virtual) teams
- Extensive experience in B2B marketing
- Business fluent English language skills; German skills desirable
- Engaging, open, creative personality who thrives working with a global and diverse team, eager to try new ideas and develop the team
