Working Student Usability / Systems Engineering (M/F/d)

Summary

Support of the department for specific tasks. Get first working experience and extend existing knowledge.

Essential Job Functions
- Support creating and maintaining a GUI design guideline for the Essenz Perfusion system
- Support building and organizing prototypes for usability testing and systems engineering
- Support Usability Testing: observation, analysis, and documentation.
- Support integration testing: Execution of Tests, Reporting tasks
- Creation of documents, reports, excel spreadsheets and presentations
- Support maintaining, updating and organizing documents: protocols, reports, plans, etc.
- Coordination, purchase and preparation of usability test materials and supplies.
- Support the department in day-to-day business

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Regular students of an engineering degree program who are matriculated, e.g. Human Factors Engineering, Medical / Mechatronic / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering, Human-Centered Design, Industrial Design or a comparable study path
- Interest in Medical Devices, Human Factors / Usability Engineering and Verification Engineering
- MS Office
- Fluency in English, spoken and written - German is a big plus
- Knowledge in ergonomics, human-computer interaction, UX research, UI/UX design principles; experience with Figma beneficial
- Willingness to learn and work with a high complex medical device with a combination of physical and graphical user interface
- Good observational and analytical skills
- Hands-on mentality, solution-oriented and creative.
- Reliable, self-responsible and structured work
- Good communication and team skill
