HR Generalist

We are looking for a passionate HR Generalist to join our HR team in Geesthacht, Germany. In this office-based role, you will provide strategic vision and operational HR support in all areas of the employee life cycle. If you are passionate about finding the right hires, nurturing and empowering the workforce, and fostering an engaging and productive work environment, then this is the role for you It is a highly collaborative position, working closely with the HR Manager and extended global HR Team.

**What you will do**
- You will be engaged in the development, follow up and execution of Sensient’s HR strategic plan, in partnership with the Global HR strategy
- Provide support, oversight, supervision, and approval of payroll, as well as promote internal and external compensation and benefits
- Collaborate with management on staffing issues, merit/promotions, and employee relations
- Manage and report on new hires (including onboarding ), performance development plans, and termination procedures (off-boarding)
- Consult with and advise leadership about compliance with organizational policies, procedures and legal regulations
- Coach teams in HR good practice and leadership matters, as well as training needs for the local site

**What you will bring**
- Solid generalist HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment and showing growth within the role
- Strong communication skills (English and German fluency) and HR management software
- We need you to be a team player, adaptive and with proactive attitude to work at an international level. You are able to influence and build successful working relationships at all levels
- Your availability to work from our Geesthacht site on daily basis and to travel internationally occasionally
