Sanden International (Europe) GmbH is looking for an **Thermal Management Test Technician (f/m/d)** in Bad Nauheim, Germany. Within the Testing & Validation team, you will be facilitating the environmental testing of air conditioning systems. This includes adapting test rigs, documenting test setups, and calibrating measurement sensors to simulate various load conditions for assessing the operating behaviour of refrigerant compressors and other related parts. **Essential responsibilities (including but not limited to)**:
- ** Test Bench Management**:
- Adaptation of test benches to accommodate different systems and components, especially refrigerant compressors
- Maintenance, servicing, and supervision of test benches using various refrigerants (e.g., R1234yf, R134a, R744)
- Ensure the calibration of all measuring devices and equipment, maintaining them in a clean and orderly condition
- ** Testing and Validation**:
- Perform tests on systems and parts to validate performance under simulated conditions
- Complete testing projects from start to finish, based on individual interest and skill set
- Support the preparation and analysis of test reports and measurement results
- ** Safety and Compliance**:
- Ensure that test facilities comply with legal standards and health and safety requirements.
- Maintain safety procedures and ensure that the test facilities are safe working environments.
- ** Facility Maintenance**:
- Keep the workshop, tools, and equipment clean and well-maintained.
- Perform other tasks as required to support the test facility's operations
**Qualifications** Required experience and education**:
- Any professional experience on air conditioning systems or refrigeration technology is desirable but not mandatory; career starters or career changers (e.g., automation technicians, plant mechanics) are welcome
- Successfully completed mechanical apprenticeship or qualification as technician in automotive mechatronics or mechatronics for refrigeration technology or any equivalent training

- Hands on practical abilities and technical understanding
- Basic knowledge of air conditioning systems and refrigeration technology
- Soldering capabilities are an advantage
- ** Computer Skills**:
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Ability to operate and interpret computer-generated information
- ** Language Skills**:
- Fluent written and spoken German
- Basic English proficiency (at least A2 level)
- ** Soft Skills**:
- Autonomy in managing technical tasks
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills with teams of different disciplines
- Motivated to learn new tasks and skills
- Analytical thinking and accurate, conscientious work according to specifications
