Project Management Officer

The position is within Aerostack GmbH, a Joint Venture between Airbus and an automotive company, part of the Airbus strategy to accelerate Zero Emission Aircraft development and build competences and skills in the technology domain.
In order to support the Team in Taufkirchen, a vacancy for a Project Management Officer (PMO) (d/f/m) has arisen at Aerostack GmbH.
As Project Management Officer you will be responsible for the project management office, creating the consolidated program view at company level in support of program management and (technical) project leaders.
The job holder reports operationally and functionally to the Head of Programmes (AEP)
Main Tasks and Accountabilities:
- Embodiment of the central Project Management Organization, acting as the company lead Project Management Officer
- Create, maintain and share an integrated planning and tracking for all company stack-related products
- Aggregate single project views to an overall company and program view
- Feed and share actual key performance indicators (KPI) that have been defined by the program function
- Be the internal point of contact for project managers on all project framework related topics
- Establish and maintain the project management framework related tool set (to create Gantt charts,)
- Provide the framework and rule set for all project managers (e.g. Work Breakdown Structure frame,)
- Provide inputs to all corporate project management functions (planning and monitoring, budget, risk and opportunity management, asset management,)
- Support the formal design review process by maintaining the framework and monitoring relevant deliverables
- Drive regular internal status meetings on project related topics to support project leaders and management
- Create the company program view incl. all project management aspects, showing interdependencies between single projects and highlighting critical paths or issues
- Provide inputs to the Monthly Reviews, Business Reviews and other Airbus relevant reviews, following the agreed methods and principles
**Required Skills**:
- University degree (Diploma, Bachelor or Master) in Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent, alternatively several years of professional experience or a comparable qualification acquired in another educational path
- Solid project management experience
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE 2) is a plus
- Experience with project management in Research & Development (R&D) environment is a plus
- Excellent knowledge of project management methods, standards and associated tool environments (e.g. iKanban, Planisware Unified Planning, Zoho Projects, Jira, Sword Active Risk Manager) as well as Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated excellent written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience in dealing with a multitude of internal stakeholders
- Excellent skills in filtering and displaying the relevant and critical elements from a complex project and program environment
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational follow through
- Self-initiated way of working, pragmatic mindset, speak-up attitude and ambition for simplicity
- Language skills: Business fluency in German and English, spoken and written, is a must, proficiency in French is a plus
