**Meeting Point International **is a part of the **FTI **GROUP, the third largest Travel Operator in Germany and Europe.

We are a worldwide company providing destination management services for travel professionals.

Current destinations we operate within include, popular Mediterranean holiday hot-spots such as; The Canaries, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Portugal, Italy and Cyprus, further afield resorts such as Azores, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia and Lebanon, and long-haul destinations such as USA, the Caribbean, Thailand, the UAE and Oman.

**Aufgaben / Tasks**
- Maintain awareness of competitive landscape and opportunities for business development
- Work with the MPI management team on development of strategies, operating model, programs and policies to promote the destination. Manage and lead the local Meeting Point team to success
- Execute the business strategy for the destination products and services in the area of business development, operations and service delivery
- Prepare and deliver presentations on local MP activities, sales achievements and market place to destination HODs and Tour Operators
- Responsible for commercial relationships with key industry partners (Travel Agencies/Airlines/Industry Associations, Banks & TMCs etc.) to drive incremental revenue
- Identify and create individual sales plans for Clients, in order to maximise sales opportunities and develop the business
- Formulate the operating plan, and oversee the management operation of local destination
- Oversee the operation of all departments within the destination ensuring achievement of annual company objectives and budget
- Responsible for crisis management, health and safety and business continuity planning and execution
- Monitor compliance with local laws and regulations in line with the Company’s code of conduct
- Plan career progression plans with local Talent & Culture, identifying and developing future leadership within local MP
- Promote a culture that encourages highest level of performance and rewards productivity
- Ensure procedures for effectively managing work performance are in place and that said procedures are adhered to and consistently monitored
- Keep well-informed with the new industry developments and standards, including digital opportunities
- Develop relationships with national, international and regional tourism based publications and writers, tour operators, meeting planners, and travel professionals in line with MPI and Group directions

**Profil / Qualifikation**
- Bachelor’s degree with preferably a post-graduate qualification
- At least 12 years of experience in a relevant industry, including at least 5 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities
- Fluent English Level
- Previous full P&L responsibility and a track record of developing and delivering business development and B2B sales strategies
- A strong influencer, motivator and diplomat with a real passion for the business
- Ability to quickly build credibility combined with negotiation skills to a strong and capable level
- Experience in developing and maintaining strong partner relationships
- Target driven with good commercial awareness and proven negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability in analysing, reporting and efficiently responding to information and data
- Strong integrity and excellent organizational skills
