Head of Quality

**Head of Quality (M/F/d)**

We are currently in search of a **Head of Quality (M/F/d)** to join our Quality Management department of the Marquardt Group in our location Ichtershausen (Germany).
**Responsibilities**
- Technical and disciplinary management and further development of the quality department (quality management, operational quality, supplier quality, customer complaints, measurement technology)
- Member of the site management team with the aim of strategically developing the Ichtershausen site for the future
- Customer support regarding the testing and implementation of quality requirements, quality planning and assurance activities including complaint management
- Quality supplier management
- Ensuring product quality in all development and production phases on a conceptual basis as well as in day-to-day operations
- Further development of the existing management system and its associated certifications (QM/UM)
- Responsibility for FMEA as well as environmental and waste management
- Carrying out internal and external audits
- Control of defective products to avoid further processing and delivery
- Introduction and continuous optimization of quality-related processes and systems
- Contact person for internal and external customers

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Completed university degree in the field of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or other job-relevant fields
- Several years of professional experience in a management position in quality management, preferably in the automotive environment
- Training as a quality manager
- Knowledge of common quality management standards, such as IATF 16949
- Experience in conducting customer and supplier audits
- High communication skills when dealing with customers, suppliers and colleagues
- Very good written and spoken English and German
- Very good IT skills, e.g. MS Office, SAP R/3
- Analytical mindset, strong resilience, ability to work in a team and hands-on mentality
