In the framework of a collaborative project between ProVIS Centre for Chemical Microscopy, UFZ Leipzig and the Helmholtz Institute for Metabolic, Obesity and Vascular Research (HIMAG), Helmholtz Centre Munich, the UFZ offers a three years Technical Assistant (TA) position. The project aims to resolve metabolic dynamics at subcellular level using Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (SIMS) approaches. The project will make use of state-of-the-art sample preparation and Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry research facilities, readily available at ProVIS Centre for Chemical Microscopy, Department of Isotope Biochemistry, UFZ Leipzig.

Your tasks:
This project aims to investigate the metabolic dynamics at the subcellular level. Within the project, the technical assistant will join an international team of young and dynamic scientists with expertise in metabolism, physics, material science and chemical imaging.
