Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities:

- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care measures
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records - Assist the dentist during procedures as needed

**Skills**:

- Proficient in aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment
- Experience with OpenDental or similar dental software for patient record management
- Knowledge of medical documentation and charting procedures
- Familiarity with dental office operations and procedures
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
- Ability to assist with dental exams
- Competence in medical imaging techniques for dental diagnostics
- Thorough knowledge of infection control protocols and practices
- Proficiency in taking vital signs and monitoring patient comfort during procedures
- Understanding of medical coding for accurate billing and insurance claims

We are seeking a highly motivated, patient and prevention centered hygienist who is open to joining our American Team in an overseas location. Minimum of 2 years clinical experience is preferred, excellence in patient care, and focus on educating and coaching our patients with their oral health is important to our practice philosophy. We are offering a 1 year contract and commitment with the possibility to extend if you are loving Germany and traveling Europe Contract and salary details will be discussed in the interview process.
