**THE ROLE & THE TEAM**:
We are looking for a Creative Copywriter (Editorial) at Zalando Studios. You will be working in our in-house agency - and taking part in redefining storytelling for our Zalando audiences. This role requires you to both shape content and write flawless copy.
You will be responsible for creating key customer facing messaging and copy for campaigns, teasers and creative presentations. You are up to date with the latest in culture, fashion and lifestyle. You understand the needs of Zalando and its customers and partners and bring these together to create outstanding copy for teasers and campaigns in alignment with teams of art directors, editors, writers, producers and strategists.
**INCLUSIVE BY DESIGN**:
**WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)**:
- Write copy for inspirational, retail and brand campaigns onsite and offsite
- Create persuasive and compelling copy that entertains, inspires and engages
- Align and collaborate with other writers across our partner business and editorial teams to help assure we're all writing in the same voice and working towards a common goal
- Collaborate with art direction colleagues to bring storytelling to the next level including providing editorial support
- Bring your knowledge of culture, publishing and social media to the team
- Work both independently but also closely with a creative team of writers, designers and art directors, in order to take storytelling to the next level
- Write clear, concise and exciting messaging in English that reflects the personality and Tone of Voice of Zalando and showcases our excting offering
- A natural affinity for culture, fashion and lifestyle
- A good understanding of the editorial publishing landscape, tone of voice and house style
- Open and curious to learn more about D&I and Sustainability topics
- Consider that your copy will have to be translated into a number of European languages
- Support Lead Copywriter
- Proofread and provide feedback and copy support for colleagues
**WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF**:
- Writing is your superpower. Maybe you have a degree in Advertising, Journalism, Fashion or similar but we value experience just as much. Ideally you have 2-4 years of experience in an agency, fashion magazine or relevant creative field
- Exceptional portfolio of copywriting work and editorial experience a major plus
- Strong interest in fashion, communication, design, tech and contemporary culture. You bring a good overview and a solid international outlook
- Nose for a good story
- A natural doer Your work showcases your quick thinking and proactive attitude, managing your workload to tight deadlines and with flexible planning in a calm way
- Enjoy working in a fast-changing, international environment. You are a dedicated team player, open, positive, flexible and professional
- Talent for writing exciting and engaging copy in English, including punchy headlines and CTAs
- A desire to mentor and upskill fellow colleagues and support the lead copywriter
