**Essential Requirements**:
- You must have a degree (e.g. BA, BSc)
- CELTA, IHC, DELTA, Certificado de Profesor de ELE or similar
- Italian language skills at minimum level B2
- Right to work in the EU

IH Hamburg is looking for ambitious Italian teachers who can teach Italian online on Wednesdays and Thursdays. We are looking for motivated teachers who would like to work with our students on a long-term basis (at least one year or longer).

Our school is a language club with a team of highly motivated teachers. Students attend classes once a week and they appreciate the social aspects of learning. Our school is a place to meet people who want to learn from and with each other.
This position is perfect for you if you have a basic teaching qualification (at least CELTA, IHC, Certificado de Profesor de ELE or similar) and enjoy the social aspects of teaching. A basic knowledge of German would be an advantage but is not a prerequisite.

- Your challenges as a Italian teacher:
- to use creative ways to get your group speaking (e.g. pair work, group work, mingling, walk and swap, running dictation and others),
- to adapt and expand the course book as a guideline while taking into account the interests and wishes of your group,
- to methodically didactically select and edit course material for your group under didactic and methodical aspects,
- to recognise group dynamics and to work with the pace of the group,
- to perceive the individual participant in the group,
- to give advice to new participants looking for the right course,
- the long-term supervision of your group,
- the exchange with colleagues and the office about the courses

- You have
- some professional experience (e.g. a training in acting or dancing, musical training, working with children, business experience, coaching training, psychological training),
- Italian language skills at least on level B2
- CELTA, IHC, DELTA, Certificado de Profesor de ELE or similar
- experience with different types of learners and group dynamics,
- good knowledge of methods for course delivery,
- excellent communication skills, you are reliable and you enjoy working in adult education.

- _gute Methodenkenntnis für die Kursdurchführung,_
- hervorragende Kommunikationsfähigkeit, sind zuverlässig und haben Spaß an der Arbeit in der Erwachsenenbildung._
