Lab Operations Supervisor
**Position Description**

**Responsibilities Will Include**
- Operations management
- Establish and manage the ongoing production schedule to achieve quarterly revenue targets.
- Act as lead for implementation of LIMS system into EU STAC in 2024
- Manage the overall EU STAC budget including the need for and purchasing of additional lab equipment, capacity increase, etc.
- Lead the yearly planning and budgeting cycle for EU STAC.
- Personnel management:

- Supervision of all lab personnel associated with EU STAC.
- Onboarding and training of new personnel on the Operations team, including Lab Assistants
- Coordination and management of any external Operations contractors
- Work with Quality Department:

- To assure ongoing regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate the authoring and/or updating of SOP’s and other controlled documents through review, signoff and archiving in Arena QMS.
- To assure 3rd party regulatory audit or inspection readiness
- Lab management:

- Oversight of shared lab areas and equipment that STAC will utilize in the course of routine work
- Establish and manage STAC supply purchasing and inventory, working with Life & Brain purchasing agent.
- Interface with Life & Brain facilities department, as required, for waste disposal, any lab space improvements, etc.
- Lab equipment management
- Coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance with vendors Schedule installation of any new lab equipment**Position Requirements**
- BS/MS degree in a related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Operations in a laboratory environment with prior people/team management preferred.
- Direct experience with Operations planning and budgeting
- Great communication skills (written and oral) and strong team player
- Ability to balance a broad range of organizational needs with appropriate attention to detail and focus on assigned tasks.
- Ability to handle Operations issues in a fast-paced environment with a customer-focused attitude
