**We are looking for a highly motivated organic chemist who would like to further develop in the organic synthesis of radio-labeled and stable-labeled small molecules and peptides. You will be involved in the radio (medicinal) chemistry of small molecules for our clients, molecules to be used in non-clinical and clinical DMPK studies.**

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**

Planning, conduct, evaluation, and reporting isotope labeling syntheses in the role as responsible chemist, especially 14C-radiosyntheses

Independently communicate with clients regarding project status and results

Preparation of presentations, and participation in client visits and audits

Determination of purity and identity of synthesized material including quality control according to GLP/GMP regulations

Work in a radioactive control area

Evaluation, development, and implementation of new technologies and skills in organic synthesis and radiochemical synthesis in accordance with department strategy

Monitoring of activities subcontracted to contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs)

Assume responsibility as Head of Production GMP and accountability for compliance with German law, GLP, GMP guidelines and other applicable regulations pertaining to the R&D process, study conduct, and registration of pharmaceutical drugs

**YOUR QUALIFICATIONS**

MSc with 2 - 5 years of (hands-on) work experience or PhD in organic chemistry

In-depth knowledge of organic (medicinal) chemistry including analytical skills (HPLC, NMR, and MS)

Highly motivated, self-driven, accountable, and results-oriented person with excellent communication and presentation skills

Capable to work both as team player and project driver. High degree of flexibility in adapting to different projects and persons.

Excellent command of written and spoken English and German will enable you to act in an international working environment.

Understanding of R&D-related sciences/practices, experience in isotope labeling and radiochemical synthesis (14C) and/or experience in GMP synthesis is of advantage, but not required

General knowledge in IT (Windows platform)
