**Who will you be joining?**
The Group Data Office is providing the data strategy for Allianz Group and supporting the data transformation of the Allianz entities around the globe.
In the role of the Senior Data Officer you will be part of the Group Data Office with a specific focus on further evolving the Group Data Strategy. In addition to this, you will support the Chief Data Officers (CDOs) and the Allianz entities in data transformation. By joining us you will be part of a lively and international team based on 9 nations and diverse backgrounds.
You will learn about Allianz data strategy and be an active part to collaborate with the Chief Data Officers and the data teams across many entities of Allianz.
**How can you make an impact?**
- Define and evolve Allianz Group Data strategy in alignment with Allianz Business strategy, Allianz Group IT strategy, and CDO Council, considering requirements from relevant Corporate Rules (such as APITIS, AFRIT, AFRIS and APS)
- Drive change in OE's by mobilising CDO's on strategic ambitions for Data
- Define and support the implementation of the strategic planning concept for assessing progress towards data ambitions
- Drive definition of minimum data standards supporting key business strategies
- Communicate to mobilize Global Data Community towards strategic goals
- Go-to person in Global Data Office for several mature OEs
- Participate in the OE Data Steering Boards
- Review and implementation steering of: OE Data programs, OE Data Value Plan, OE Data Architecture Roadmaps, OE Data Governance setup, implementation plans, etc.
- Ensure Controlling & Monitoring of the OE implementation of the Data functional rule through continuous verification and selected deep dives
- Participate in global initiatives to define and evolve the target picture for Data
- Formalize the target picture for Data through Corporate Rules and related guidance, frameworks and rules of procedure
**What are you made of?**
**Minimal Requirements**:
- University level degree in Economics, Business Administration, mathematics, IT or similar
- Minimum of 10 years work experience in running successful transformation projects, developing and implementing operational strategies
- Business experience in core business functions such as Product Development, Finance or Market Management or in Digital / Tech within last 10 years for at least 12 months either inside (OE) or outside of Allianz Group
- Deep knowledge of Allianz processes and Allianz IT landscape
- Allianz OE experience would be a plus
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Hands-on, can-do-mentality with strong result-orientation
- Strong stakeholder
- and customer focus
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- Ability to communicate abstract data management concepts into business related terminology.
- Team spirit, self-motivation and a proactive and collaborative working style
- Ability to interact in a global and diverse work environment
- At least 2 days a week on site in Munich office
- Previous experience in business related functions (e.i. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus
