**About us
At MBition, we are bringing digital luxury to mobility users around the world. To accomplish this, we are redefining how software is developed within the automotive field as part of an international Mercedes-Benz software development network. As a 100% subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz Group AG, we develop and integrate the next generation of Mercedes-Benz in-car infotainment systems that are based on the Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MBOS). In addition, we are responsible for the Mercedes me companion app, we provide seamless & connected mobility experiences and we contribute to Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) platform development. With offices in Berlin and Sofia, we are aiming to bring new generation of innovative infotainment systems across the globe.
**Your Mission
MBition GmbH is developing and integrating the next generation of Mercedes-Benz in-car infotainment systems. As System Architect you will join a team of experienced generalists responsible for designing our systems to the highest engineering standards, using best practices and latest technologies. You will contribute to MBition's projects with high-level architecture concepts and models, dependency analysis, prioritization of work, effort estimates and resource requests, and help to define and assert non-functional requirements. You will manage tech debt by living our strategy of a re-usable infotainment platform and inform technology choices with industry-wide impact by implementing our Open Source strategy. You will guide innovative ideas all the way to production in collaboration with Domain architects, Developers and stakeholders at MBition, other Mercedes-Benz AG entities and suppliers.

**Work experience
- Previous experience as a System / Software Architect in AutomotiveInfotainment or other mixed-criticality systems2+ years of professional experience as a System / Software Architect **Core experience and skills
- Highly experienced in Embedded Systems developmentHighly experienced in common Automotive operating systems (Yocto Linux, QNX, RTOS)Highly familiar with Software Architecture patterns, e.g. process and IPC architecturesHighly familiar with relevant standards and standard technologies inboth SW and HWExcellent architectural diagramming skills, including UMLExcellent technical research skillsExcellent technical writing skills, including the ability to organize, summarize and present informationExcellent communication skills, including experience with moderating technical and stakeholder discussionsExperience or familiarity with architectural modelling tools, e.g.Rhapsody or Enterprise ArchitectExperience or familiarity with Requirements Engineering and Req.Management tools, e.g. DoorsNGExperience with or knowledge of ASPICE **Nice to have
