**HR Business Partner (Germany, Austria, France, Tschec Republic)**

AIT Worldwide Logistics-Europe is seeking an **Regional HR Business Partner **who will work to deliver a blended culture of our AIT global programs and processes but also support the culture and work environment that we continue to build and evolve across Europe as we continue to grow and organically expand into new geographies.

The HR Business Partner will be joining an HR team of over 30 teammates across the globe, coming together to drive our global HR strategy in ensuring AIT is a great place to work for our 2,200 teammates across the globe

**Position Overview**:
The HR Business Partner will play a critical role in delivering the HR strategy across their regions. The HR Business Partner will be responsible for strategic and operational support to managers across their regions, with responsibilities related to performance management, coaching/training of People Leaders, new hire on-boarding, employee relations, career development and succession planning, teammate recognition and engagement. This role will support and/or lead several key projects and will work closely with managers and stakeholders to ensure they have the skills and capability to deliver and manage change while supporting HR initiatives that help them achieve their business objectives.

This position reports into the Director of HR, Europe.

This position is a hybrid role, with an expectation of working in the office at least three days/week and opportunity to be remote, if needed. AIT has offices in Biberach, Bremen, Frankfurt, Greven and Stuttgart where the HR Business Partner will be expected to visit.

**What You Will Be Doing Day-to-Day**:

- Live our Values and be a champion for our culture.
- Be accountable for human capital results in your business units in the areas of employee relations, talent retention, engagement, performance management, workforce planning and career development.
- Recruit managers and employee and ensure a high-class recruitment process including timely deliver on new hire employment contracts.
- Create a best-in-class new hire onboarding program by partnering with regional leaders and HR partners to deliver a positive and effective new hire experience.
- Counsel people leaders within assigned business units regarding company policy, procedures, and workplace issues. Provide coaching and resolution regarding all employee relations issues within your region.
- Support in the creation and further development of regulations, manuals, policies, concepts, etc.
- Help drive succession planning within region(s) by identifying the high potential talent and engage in assessment, development, and ongoing support, particularly for those on a leadership track.
- Provide counsel to regional leaders in regard to local/country employment law and legislation changes. Support roll-out of compliance initiatives within your region.
- Works closely with regional leaders on effective workforce planning, recruitment & selection methods, pipeline development, interviewing methodologies and hiring process. Actively identify talent within your region(s) to fill openings as a means for development.
- Responsible for due diligence, integration and the HR playbook for any future acquisitions to support our growth strategy within your assigned region.
- Effectively coordinate within HR and internal stakeholders to align on projects, change management plans, communication messages and related efforts for effective deployment within your respective region(s).

**Other Skills We Hope to See**:

- 4-7 years’ experience in HR in a Business Partner role
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field
- HR certification’s a plus
- Fluency in speaking & writing in German; advanced knowledge of English.
- Solid knowledge of country employment laws and safety protocols for Germany; other countries would be beneficial
- Strong oral & written communication skills, including the confidence to present, influence and collaborate at the leadership level
- Demonstrated ability to drive HR processes and to deliver high quality projects in a growing environment
- Team player that works well with others
- Have an eye for spotting talent and underst
