Project Purchaser

YOUR ROLE

As Project Purchaser/ Technical Purchaser, you will be responsible for all project procurement within NEXWAFE. For example, all relevant purchasing for our new production facility and other strategic projects during the expansion of our operations will be in your hands. You will work closely with our technology and quality department to understand project requirement and translate them into a project procurement strategy.

The close contact with our management will allow you to move quickly and help continue the NEXWAFE growth

ABOUT YOU
- Successfully completed commercial/ technical studies or comparable qualification
- Business management knowledge coupled with technical affinity
- Previous experience as an operational or project buyer of machinery, technical products, chemicals, semiconductor, PV or capital goods in an international environment
- Strong ability to build relationship with suppliers to negotiate out of the box solutions and to advance delivery times
- Independent, structured, solution oriented working style
- Proactive mindset, high level of commitment, strong communication and negotiation skills
- Negotiable (spoken and written) in German and English language

YOUR TASKS
- Early involvement of procurement in strategic important development projects as procurement lead
- Interface between engineering department, purchasing, and suppliers
- Securing project relevant purchasing services and components throughout the development project
- Deciding the sourcing strategy in coordination with strategic procurement for commodity groups such as production machine / investment items and/or external services
- Identification of suppliers in cooperation with the technical department / project team
- Aligning project schedules with involved suppliers
- Identifying, defining, and executing cost saving projects, also after SOP
- Being responsible for RFQs of project specific needs
- Order processing of technical complex demands, for example, semiconductor grade manufacturing machines and automation and other high value technical items
- Supporting negotiation and creation of contractual frameworks, for example, NDA and long term contracts
