The Team

The Role

**Responsibilities**:
**You will**:

- Support on various pre-litigation and litigation matters, aligning with business stakeholders as required to obtain relevant information. The primary focus is on the DACH region.
- Support on the implementation and management of processes and procedures relating to pre-litigation, litigation and other contentious issues.
- Support on a wide range of tasks such as assistance with setting up team calls, taking minutes and/or the organisation of team events and other team initiatives.
- Communicate with outside counsel, as part of regular responsibilities or as requested by lawyers.
- Research and organise factual information and technical data; develop and update chronologies, reports, tables, graphics.
- Legal research, and other tasks as assigned.
- Prepare for and participate in conference calls and meetings.
- Coordinate case management tasks, ensure compliance with litigation holds, protective orders, and e-discovery requirements.
- Assist in the collection, processing, review, analysis, and production of both electronically stored information (ESI) and tangible information.
- Retrieve legal documents from agencies, libraries, and internet sources.
- Provide other ad hoc support to the Global Litigation team.

**Qualifications**:
Qualifications
- Ideally at least 2-3 years’ experience working as a litigation paralegal / support lawyer in a high growth business or law firm. Experience in the tech sector is very welcomed.
- Law degree (Bachelor/Master of Law or First State Exam) preferred.
- Fluency in German and English (written and verbal skills).
- Solid organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong technological proficiency and experience with document review technology and workflows.
- Great written and verbal communication skills supporting excellent customer service skills.
- Ideally have experience working in an eDiscovery or litigation support environment, including knowledge of the litigation process.
- A team player who is adaptable and willing to pitch in to support colleagues and the growth of the business.
- Proactive, self-starter with a strong work ethic who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in building effective relationships with people from different disciplines and cultures.
- Ability to handle a varied workload and prioritise as needed.
