The Tübingen location of Siemens AG develops, tests, and manufactures geared motors for the global market. The target customers comprise transport technology, automotive, and airport logistics, among others. The Tübingen plant coordinates Siemens manufacturing locations for geared motors worldwide. Due to digitalisation solutions which can be checked on site, the plant was included in the list of “100 locations of Industry 4.0” of the Land Baden-Württemberg. The plant in Mohelnice, Czech Republic also manufactures geared motors and their components.

We are looking for you as a Team Leader (M/F/d) in Disposition for both locations - in Tübingen and Mohelnice (Czech Republic) - who will lead a team that explores the current processes and implements innovative approaches for further optimisation.

- You and your team shall be responsible for the area of disposition within the logistics for the Tübingen and Mohelnice locations. In doing so, you shall lead ca. 10 employees across the locations in a disciplinary and professional manner.
- You shall be responsible for timely disposition of materials and parts in the corresponding amounts with respect to the customer requirements for the implementation of sales targets. In addition, you shall anticipate and analyse bottlenecks in the materials and manufacture, and implement countermeasures.
- You shall manage inventory levels in a reliable and methodical manner, and ensure continuous optimisation thereof.
- You shall be responsible for the development and management of supply chains and ensure necessary capacities and skills of the suppliers in coordination with internal interfaces.
- You shall create and analyse logistics indicators for the management of purchasing volumes and identify potential for improving as regards the purchasing strategy.
- You shall define operative milestones, continuous building, and further development of the supply chain structure, also in digital form, in order to ensure short implementation times and fulfilment of KPIs.
- You shall be cross-departmentally and internationally linked (manufacturing sites, suppliers) and champion efficient and trusted cooperation with all interfaces.
- You shall use and further develop digitalisation tools to optimise the supply chain.

**Your profile for “Make the Future Possible”.**
- Your success wiull be based on completed university studies, preferably in industrial engineering, logistics, or equivalent.
- You should have several years’ experience in the area of disposition and you should be able to think in terms of general end-to-end processes / supply chains. You should always keep track of optimal availability of materials for manufacture with optimised inventory levels at the same time.
- You should have deep knowledge of SAP R/3 or S4 Hana.
- Experience in the disposition in the make-to-order production environment (in which finished products have shorter lead times, while raw materials have longer lead times) is a great advantage.
- You should have prior managerial experience - professional or disciplinary - ideally in various cultural environments.
- You should have experience with change management and be able to introduce new processes to your team.
- You should have experience with project management and management of projects in process optimisation.
- You should ensure promises are kept through your persistence and assertiveness.
- You should convince by maximum customer orientation, own initiative, analytical capabilities, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
- Your profile should be topped by profound knowledge of written and spoken German and English, as well as very good user skills with SAP R/3 or S4 Hana.
