Within the department ‘Corporate Strategy’ we are looking for a Director (f/m/d) Sustainability at our headquarters in Melsungen.

The Director (f/m/d) Sustainability is responsible for establishing a global Sustainability Management within the B. Braun Group. With sustainability being one of our core values and an integral part of our strategy, optimizing its management and reporting is crucial for a successful future. The Director (f/m/d) Sustainability will define targets, corresponding initiatives, provide guidance to drive the topic on the B. Braun fit and include sustainability in all we do.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Coordinating the group-wide definition, implementation and evaluation of reliable sustainability reporting data (KPI, targets, etc.) and processes by cross-divisional and cross-departmental cooperation
- Development and maintaining of relevant Sustainability Reporting group governance documents
- Ensuring compliance and global implementation of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) within the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) in cooperation with Corporate Finance and auditors
- Preparing the Sustainability input of the Annual Report in collaboration with Corporate Communications
- Further developing tools for a successful Sustainability Reporting and Management
- Monitoring and coordination of regulatory developments and other requirements (e.g. from customers, banks, etc.)
- Regular benchmarking with relevant peers and monitoring of developments (regulatory, market, clients, investors etc.)
- Implementing and promoting targeted initiatives particularly in terms of technology, reduction of emissions and resources, social responsibility and employee safety

**Professional competencies**:

- University degree in Sustainability Management, Environmental and Resource Management, Engineering, Economics or related studies with a focus on Sustainability Management
- Several years of experience, ideally within a global company
- Experience in the areas of sustainability within a business environment and CSR reporting
- Know-how in multi-project management or program management is an advantage
- Business fluent in German and English
- Very strong skills in MS-Office
- Ideally initial experience in dealing with data management systems
