MTM Engineering Ltd have a position available for an EHS Advisor in Frankfurt Germany.

As an EHS Advisor you will oversee a Data Center project in the assigned country assisting the project team and implement and maintain company management systems for the project. The successful EHS Advisor will coordinate all EHS matters and report any issues directly to the Project Manager and EHS Manager.

**Your role as an EHS Advisor**:

- Ensure EHS management systems for all assigned projects are implemented and maintained.
- Develop task specific Method statements, Risk Assessments, Safe Plan of Action, Permit to Work as needed.
- Align compliance with the project safety statement.
- Collate and monitor project health & safety metrics, implement controls.
- Promote Good Safety Practices and ensure these are consistently maintained. Foster a Safety-First working environment philosophy.
- Provide expert advice and training on all EHS matters to management, safety representatives and employees.
- Provide daily leadership and coordination of the Project EHS requirements.
- Attend site meetings, provide insights about the business EHS risks, trends and recommend workable solutions to drive continuous improvement.
- Undertake audits, inspections & incident investigation reports, identify hazards, establish corrective and preventative actions to avoid reoccurrence,
- Engage with the client on a daily basis.
- Design and deliver high quality Toolbox talks, Health & Safety training weekly and/or as needed.
- Conduct thorough accident investigation reports in a timely manner without bias and maintain regular communication with the main stakeholders.
- Guarantee documentation is scanned and uploaded to the relevant Safety File on the Company’s cloud filing system for record keeping.
- Ensure that all records of tool, plant and project activities are available for statutory Inspections.

**Your Qualifications and Key Criteria**:

- Relevant third level Certificate qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety. Minimum Cert to NVQ 6 in Occupational H&S
- A minimum of 3 years working experience
- Extensive knowledge of current environmental, health and safety legislation
- Flexibility to work patterns where necessary e.g. 3:1 rotation.
- Ability to manage efficiently, all environmental, health and safety issues on site.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Package

**Remuneration**:

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Frankfurt: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
