**About us**

Neoscan Solutions is a young and cool venture. We are developing high-end solutions for MR imaging and spectroscopy, hereby collaborating closely with the Otto von Guericke University of Magdeburg, and the
Research Campus _STIMULATE_.

**About the position**

**Modelling MRI Systems (f/m/d) ** and solving optimization problems.

The expert who fills this position tackles problems and implements solutions which are at the core of our business: e.g., computing the blueprints for high quality sustainable superconducting magnets for MR imaging and spectroscopy.

While your work covers the implementation of advanced models and optimizations in the first place, you also like to interact with our engineering team to learn how well the modelling describes a real magnet, and you like to refine your model by taking the experimental data into account.

**Our expectations**
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, physics, computer science, or applied mathematics
- You like to work both in a team and independently
- Communication skills in English; German skills are helpful

**Your tasks**
- Implementation of models and optimal solutions using various SW solutions, among them Simulia

OPERA, MatLab, and C/C++
- Developing a broader understanding of the value of various optimization strategies, e.g. genetic algorithms and simulated annealing
- Refining your models by taking experimental data into account

The full-time or part-time position is immediately available. There is a fair chance to also work academically in this field, hereby earning international reputation.
