To support a well-known customer, we are looking for you, a **Mainframe IMS Specialist** (M/F/d) in full-time or part-time at the **Essen **location.

**Your tasks**:

- Responsibility for the IMS software lifecycle management: installation, upgrade and maintenance of the software
- Exploration of new product features for continuous optimization
- Third-level support for software errors
- Contact person for customers when using the software products
- Implementation of change and problem handling
- Configuration and customization of software products
- Setting up parameters and carrying out reorganizations, health checks, etc.
- Communication with customers and providers

**Your qualification**:

- Experience as an IMS system programmer or experience in a similar position
- Experience in 3rd level support
- IMS Level 3 system program skills
- Proficiency in installation, maintenance, problem diagnosis and administration of IMS DB
- Experience communicating with customers and vendors
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong service orientation and problem solving skills
