**The position offers the possibility of remote working with 2-3 office days per week.**
As "Controller (M/F/d) Group Investments" you are part of the international team Group Investment & Project Controlling. The main tasks of this area are evaluation, controlling and reporting of the TUI Group's investments and projects.
In this role you will get an insight into the entire processes of the Group. You will prepare the approvals of the TUI Group Executive Board and work closely with other Group departments (such as Investor Relations, M&A, Tax, Legal, Strategy, Corporate Finance, Accounting, Sustainability) as well as with business units of other TUI companies.
ABOUT THE JOB
Planning and review of investment plans (CapEx) of TUI AG subsidiaries and aggregation to a Group-wide investment budget/plan in the framework of the Group's strategic planning.
Preparation and analysis of Group-wide investment reports during the year (actuals, forecast financial year) for the Executive Board
Analysis and evaluation of major planned / proposed individual investments and preparation for approval by the Executive Board; likewise for all other financial commitments above certain value thresholds such as leasing contracts for aircraft and hotels, capital increases and other contracts with major financial commitments
Designing the Group-wide investment process (guidelines, approvals, assessment models, templates, reporting, controlling)
Advising TUI companies on investment-related issues concerning investment projects
Carrying out ad-hoc investment analyses for the Executive Board
Close cooperation with other Group departments (e.g. Investor Relations, Mergers & Acquisitions, Tax, Legal, Strategy, Corporate Finance, Accounting, Sustainability) as well as with business units throughout the TUI Group
Further development of the IT tools used
ABOUT YOU
Preferably already some years of professional experience in controlling, ideally also in the field of investments, profitability calculations, project controlling or reporting
Strong analytical skills, distinct understanding of numbers, processes and economic correlations as well as strategic thinking
Confident and friendly appearance, also in an international context; good presentation skills
Very good command of German and English, both orally and in writing; communication and documentation within the team and with stakeholders is mostly in English
Ability to work independently and under time pressure
Very good Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and possibly Access)
