Master Thesis: Modelling of Transient Response

In your new role, you are part of the international engineering team at our site in Munich / Germany (mainly) and Netanya / Israel. During your thesis project, you will grow to an expert for modelling of DC/DC converters, with focus on Multiphase Voltage Regulators.
- **Lifelong learning**: You learn about digital controller implementations for Multiphase Voltage Regulators (VR) used to supply power for CPUs and digital SoCs
- **Focus on the future**: You develop a model for the Multiphase VR and the output filter
- **Experience research**: You perform lab tests to evaluate the model with real hardware measurements
- **Expand your horizons**: You create a tool to be used to estimate the amount of output capacitance required to meet the transient requirements for the Multiphase VR
- **Study field**: You have a bachelor’s degree and most of your master courses finished in Electrical Engineering (or similar degree)
- **Skills**: You have some prior knowledge of control loop theory and you are able to read and understand electronic schematic and layout documents
- **Experience**: You ideally have prior experience / know-how with power electronics
- **Way of working**:You are self-motivated and ready to work with a flexible time schedule that suits your curriculum as well as our project requirements
- **Language skills**: You have fluent English skills

- Latest grades transcript (not older than 6 months)
- High school report
