The role of a Product Owner within the Allianz ecosystem, responsible for MFA, is to steer the continuous product evolution, functional and non-functional developments, maximizing value based on customer demand, market-trends, regulatory compliance and the firm’s strategy, leveraging the cross-disciplinary capabilities, skills and knowhow of the different squads. Moreover, the MFA Product Owner is responsible to define the short-term and long-term product strategy, in close alignment with the various IAM tribe and IT Security stakeholders, as well as across the global organization, considering the Future Workplace landscape and the movement towards Cloud-based and User-Behavior Analytics (UBA) technologies.
Throughout this role, he or she will be in close contact with senior stakeholders, from both business and IT, among others, from the global CTO and CIO offices, Security Governance & Security Operations, as well as with IAM Operations and the IAM Security Architects. The Product Owner is tasked to continue evolving a strong security organization, developing global Security solutions and controls, and to extend the solution rollout to all Allianz Organizational Entities around the globe.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Accountable for the overall strategy execution and implementation of the global Multifactor Authentication (MFA) offering, maximizing the value of the product and measuring Allianz Technology’s customer experience and satisfaction;
- Manages and prioritizes the Product Backlog, clearly expressing critical and high-priority items, ordering the items to best achieve goals and missions, representing the desires of the stakeholders in the Product Backlog and ensuring that the Product Backlog is visible;
- Provides regular updates and creates transparency towards the customer on what priority items the Scrum-Team and various squads will work on next;
- Ensures that product increments are delivered in high quality and iteratively considering customer and stakeholder feedback thus ensuring continuous product improvement;
- Clearly points out and provides solutions for product related impediments;
- Collaborates with other Product Owners and provides guidance on global roll-out roadmap/backlog prioritization;
- Ensures fulfillment of non-functional requirements of the solution, such as performance, data protection, IT security and ergonomics/usability;
- Ensures product delivery is on time, budget and high quality and withstands high customer stakeholder requirements;
- Advises departments and decision making committees in topics related to Allianz group policies and processes for Multifactor Authentication.
- Facilitates personal development of the team; members of a functional and personal growth level.
**Key Requirements**:
- Profound knowledge of the Identity & Access Management business area, market-trends and competitors, as well as deployment record of Security and Multifactor Authentication (MFA) solutions.
- Higher education degree in business management, business administration, change management, economics, IT or comparable education;
- Preferable 8+ years relevant management experience as for large and complex IT or Technology organizations with international teams and a multicultural environment;
- Broad technical expertise, interest in IT security, openness to new trends and technologies. Insight into the latest technologies in Identity and Access Management.
- Experience of delivery process and ability to identify and provide adequate input for successful roll-out of global service capabilities for internal customers;
- Excellent knowledge of English language (written and spoken) is a must;
- Problem solving skills based on practice and precedent as well as ability to analyze factual information;
- Structured working mode and ability to tackle and prioritize diverging stakeholder expectations and planning;
- Ability to carry out tasks independently in non-standardized (ever-changing) work situations, based on multiple information sources;
- Ability to evaluate new customer requirements and complex business demands and assess their relevance and compatibility with the Group strategy and IT access management policies and frameworks.
