Culmen is seeking to hire a **Persian-Farsi language Instructor** to provide language training (level 2-4) at the Partner Language Training Center Europe (PLTCE) in Garmisch, Germany for United States personnel, NATO Allies, and worldwide partners.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Conduct 4-7 courses per year
- Each course will be five full weeks
- Up to 6 students in a classroom
- Assign homework on a daily basis that is tailored to the needs of each student
- Provide feedback on completed homework assignments, identify problem areas and conduct immediate remediation
- Counsel students on academic progress
- Provide suitable out-of-class activities for classes
- Prepare all teaching materials prior to the beginning of class
- Work as a team member to develop instructional material, coordinate instructional activities, and assignment of student sections with other instructors

Basic Qualifications:

- Educational background in foreign-language pedagogy to provide advanced language training to adult learners.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (MA or PhD is highly desired)
- Fluent in the Persian-Farsi languages, as spoken in Iran
- Five years of recent, and relevant experience in teaching Persian-Farsi to foreign, adult learners
- Five years or more of personal life and work experience in one or more countries in which Persian-Farsi is spoken as a first language.
- Experience must be as a resident living, working, or serving in the military within the system and related environment
- US citizen, EU citizen, German citizen or existing German work visa
- Working knowledge of English sufficient for conducting course development and research in the English language
