Newrest is hiring an **Airside Supervisor** for its subsidiary in **Germany**.

Newrest Group recently entered into the German market through a Joint Venture with Käfer Group. By combining their respective networks and know-how, the ambition of this partnership is to offer a solid and agile alternative to international airlines on the German market. Currently based in Frankfurt and Munich, the Joint Venture has a strong development plan to increase its footprint quickly in other major airports of the country.

**MISSIONS**:

- Plan, coordinate daily workloads before the start of each shift and work with internal colleagues to meet daily deadlines.
- Ensure all in-flight meals, special meals and products are assembled according to client flight specifications.
- Place security seals on all storage trolleys ready for dispatch.
- Deliver all items to aircraft and confirm menu briefing with crew to ensure flight is fully catered.
- Ensure suite dressers dress cabins according to client’s specifications.
- Assist with other duties within various departments as and when required.
- Responsible to make sure required airline standards are met regarding packing plans. (full training and supporting documents will be given)
- Conduct regular Ramp Audits at the Airport.
- Engage with Customer at local level (including attending station meetings).
- Participate food presentation & food taste panels.
- Incident report writing.
- Effectively load airline food and catering supplies inside delivery trucks and at the Aircraft
- Utilise effective communications to minimise delays and resolve problems.
- Multitask and work under pressure.
- Lift and/or push approximately 50lbs.
- Fork lift driving duties (if applicable).
- An effective ambassador for the Newrest at all times and whilst wearing uniform off duty.

**PROFILE**:

- Minimum 1 years’ airline industry, experience (desirable).
- An ability to work well under pressure and part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal with a customer centred approach to service delivery.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Efficiency and organisation.
- Self-motivation, commitment and enthusiasm and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Any other duties as requested by the line manager.
- Operational awareness, understand of HACCP, COSHH, requirements and any other training as specified by your manager.
- The ability to be an effective ambassador for the organisation at all times and whilst wearing uniform off duty.
- English and German required.
