**Job Purpose**:
We are looking for a driven professional to support the DHL Innovation and Trend Research Program Office. This key individual will ensure transparency across the global innovation project portfolio, and support major innovation projects. Further, the individual will support defining the strategic priorities and managing the Program Office for the Function Innovation & Trend Research as well as the DHL Innovation Centers around the world. The incumbent of this position will collaborate with all sectors & functions across DHL Customer Solutions & Innovation in order to create commercial value through innovation projects and programs.

**Principal Accountabilities**:

- Ensure transparency and effectiveness of innovation projects and programs
- Execute project management plans and processes for successful execution of innovation projects
- Draft plans to deliver program to achieve required quality standard, on time
- Track program milestones, report and update progress against the plans and budget
- Recognize and resolve operational problems and minimize delays in the delivery of program
- Execute risk mitigation action plans to minimize risks
- Support strategy development, implementation and strategic projects across trends research, innovation and the DHL Innovation Centers
- Develop management presentations, and align across major stakeholders with supervision
- Support with planning, preparation and execution of key meetings & presentations of global VP Innovation and Trend Research as well as Innovation Center heads around the world

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent HR certification
- 1-2 years of experience in the Logistics Industry or consulting. Must have good working knowledge of global supply chains. Industry experience includes, but is not limited to:

- Management of global programs in similar roles
- Project management or operational experience
- Understanding of all DHL business models
- Financial experience (spreadsheets, P&L, or other types of financial awareness) is a plus
- Ability to develop and maintain a holistic view on customer needs and DHL capabilities across a wide range of express and logistics products
- Ability to translate strategic knowledge into tangible proposals for execution
- High degree of persistence, follow through, and detail oriented approach.
- Vision, initiative, and curiosity to see beyond a task at hand, to understand the impact of the output, and willingness to support the sale leadership teams to drive success.
- Strong interpersonal skills to navigate through a global, cross-cultural and cross-BU working environment
- Must have excellent analytical & problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate with senior internal management
- Problem solver in ambiguous situations with strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are required
- Positive and creative, “find a way” attitude
- Team oriented - strong international exposure and cultural sensitivity
