**Responsibilities**:

- In this position you are responsible for the global purchasing for direct materials of the respective BU Mounts, the position can be located in Weinheim (GER), South Haven (USA) or Farmington Hills (USA):

- Management and leadership of Global Purchasing for the BU
- Alignment of BU purchasing strategy with commodity strategy including KPIs
- Negotiation of contracts with suppliers on Program / Project Level
- Close relationship to Engineering Team of BU Mounts to be close to the acquisition
- Leading global BOM evaluations for acquisitions
- Mediate in case of disagreement in supplier nomination process with Commodity Manager to combine BU strategy with commodity strategy (VETO right) / Owns procurement decision in respective BU
- Initiate regular benchmark activities with support of gained knowledge in global projects to support the saving activities of the BU
- Responsible for Risk Management of suppliers and projects

**Qualifications**:

- Master degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration or comparable combination of education and work experience
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in automotive industry, ideally in purchasing area
- Strong leadership experience
- Good negotiation skills
- Project Management Skills
- Good communications skills, intercultural skills, ability for working in Matrix Organization
- Good knowledge of SAP (MM)
- Self-confident, pro-active and team player, entrepreneurial and economic thinking that contributes to achieving our business goals
