Our Digital Science Services division delivers software solutions that streamline processes, collate and deliver information across scientific networks, and connect people, systems, processes and data. Our capabilities enable scientists and business leaders to make better-informed decisions, advance search and deliver high-quality products to market faster.

**Location: Germany Remote**

We work with organizations across a wide range of industries at different points on their digital transformation journey - guiding their adoption of digital technologies to implement Industry/Pharma 4.0 strategy and make transformative changes to their business.
The DSS works with colleagues from other divisions and businesses across Thermo Fisher to drive collaborative solutions to customer challenges, helping to commercialize software projects by delivering end-to-end product, software and service capabilities which span complete scientific workflows.

**A day in the Life**:
You will be part of a highly skilled consultancy team to deliver professional consultancy services related to the implementation of Thermo Fisher Informatics products.

**Keys to Success**:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (higher level technical degree is highly preferred).

Experience
- Relevant experience in industry or laboratory informatics
- Experienced in Laboratory Informatics, for example in LIMS (required), ELN, SDMS or Instrument Integration
- Experience with SampleManager and/or Nautilus LIMS is an advantage
- Experience in customer facing role, Project management experience would be advantageous

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Programming skills Microsoft.NET& C# programming would be most advantageous
- Organised with ability to prioritize workload and work under pressure
- Demonstrated communication skills in both English and German (preferred)

**Travel Requirements**:

- The job will require travelling to customer sites and the possibility to work out of the home office.
