SAP SD Lead Consultant Location: Permanent
SAP SD on SAP ECC platform, SAP SD integration with other SAP modules like SAP FICO, SAP MM etc.
Language: German and English


Lead or participate in the full project lifecycle of SAP SD implementation and rollout projects, with a specific focus on German business processes and compliance.
• Analyze German business requirements related to the Order-to-Cash process and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
• Design and configure core SAP SD functionalities, including sales order management, pricing, shipping, billing, and credit management, in accordance with German legal and tax laws.
• Implement country-specific legal and tax requirements within the SAP system, including electronic invoicing (e-invoicing) and statutory reporting using tools like SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC).
• Create detailed functional specifications for custom developments (RICEFWs), enhancements, and interfaces specific to German business practices.
• Perform comprehensive system testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, for all SAP SD solutions.
• Provide ongoing third-level support and troubleshooting for SAP SD-related issues, addressing incidents and problems from German-speaking end-users.
• Conduct training sessions and prepare user documentation for German key users to ensure effective knowledge transfer and system adoption.
• Stay up-to-date on changes to German regulations and standard SAP best practices to continuously improve and optimize existing processes.

Strong hands-on experience in SAP SD/OTC configuration in SAP ECC and customization. Expertise in German-specific SAP localization, including legal and tax reporting requirements.
• Experience with SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP integration points with other modules such as FI/CO and MM.
• Experience with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and interfaces is beneficial.
Fluent proficiency in German (minimum B2/C1 level) for communication with German-speaking stakeholders and workshops.
