Grow with us We are currently looking for a colleague to join our Securities Legal Team that is a part of our Legal Fund Governance Department. We are responsible for providing legal advice for all entities of the Universal Investment Group. Your tasks and responsibilities: independent examination and negotiation of fund related documentation/contracts under German law and providing templates of legal documents for departments. Review and negotiation of OTC contract documentation (DRV/ISDA) for various OTC products (e.g. credit derivatives) Legal support of class action proceedings for companies of the Universal Group handling legal issues for management, specialized departments and affiliated companies Legal support, processing and evaluation of national and international legal developments such as directives and proposed legislation / advising the specialist departments regarding the implementation of legal and regulatory requirements for the investment business Your skills and experience: Two state exams in law or comparable qualifications Professional experience of at least 3 years in the legal department of an investment company and/or a bank and/or a law or auditing firm desirable Knowledge of German and, if applicable, international investment law desirable A careful and analytical way of working Ability to become quickly familiar with new topics and willingness to take on new responsibilities.
