To strengthen our Supply Chain team, we are looking for a professional and dedicated Strategic Buyer (m/f/d) to optimize our international procurement processes and develop forward-thinking purchasing strategies. The position is located in Frankfurt am Main , on the 24th floor of the iconic Messeturm, offering a modern and inspiring workspace with breathtaking views. The Role/Responsibilities: Define and execute direct and indirect procurement strategy, optimizing global procurement costs and processes Conduct detailed analyses of market trends, supplier performance, and cost-saving opportunities Build and maintain long-term relationships with international suppliers; lead contract negotiations and ensure optimal terms Work closely with production, quality assurance, logistics, and other teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations Identify potential supply chain risks and develop strategies to mitigate them Represent Sirio at international trade fairs and industry events to expand supplier networks and identify new partners Profile/Requirements: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)3–5 years of purchasing or strategic sourcing experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideally from the food and beverage industry Solid understanding of negotiation techniques, contract law, and supplier management Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage Strong commercial acumen and understanding of processes in manufacturing processes and business frameworks Preferably some experience in packaging procurement Analytical thinker, proactive, solution-oriented, with strong communication and collaboration skills Excellent command of English (written and spoken); German or additional European languages are an advantage Willingness to travel within Europe and occasionally to Asia Professional demeanour with integrity, reliability, and a strong customer focus We Offer: Ongoing training and professional development opportunities A positive and collaborative work environment Flexible working hours and hybrid working models supporting a healthy work–life balance An international company environment with colleagues from around the world
