Trainee Associate

Our client is a global private equity investor with more than $50 billion in assets under management and a strong presence across Europe and North America. The European LBO team is an active investor in the mid-market, focusing on buyouts and growth-oriented investments across sectors such as business services, healthcare, industrials, and consumer. With a proven track record of driving value creation through operational improvement, strategic repositioning, and bolt-on acquisitions, the firm has established itself as a trusted partner for entrepreneurs and management teams.
The Hamburg office plays a central role in executing the European LBO strategy, sourcing new transactions in the DACH region and supporting portfolio companies with transformation initiatives. The team is now seeking to expand with the hire of a Senior Associate.

Deal origination and evaluation: support sourcing and screening of mid-market buyout opportunities across the DACH region
Portfolio management: actively support value creation initiatives, including operational improvement projects, M&A execution, and strategic repositioning of portfolio companies
3–5 years of professional experience, ideally from top-tier management consulting firms, PE practice.
