Satellite Production Engineer

We are seeking a Production Engineering Manager & Industrial Deployment Manager to lead the end-to-end deployment and operational readiness of a satellite integration facility . You will oversee the local facility’s setup from project initiation through commissioning and, once the site becomes operational (6-9 months), transition to lead the on-site Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) team.
We are hiring on behalf of an international leader in satellite-based Earth Observation and advanced satellite imagery technology, employing more than 500 people. The company operates commercial satellite constellations and delivers critical insights to clients across sectors such as defense, intelligence, maritime, insurance, disaster management, and finance.
This role is pivotal in establishing and managing one of our client key manufacturing locations, ensuring that your site is delivered on time, within scope and budget, and capable of supporting high-quality satellite production.

Deployment Phase - Site Deployment / Industrial Manager
Work closely with the central engineering, production, and manufacturing infrastructure teams to ensure your site meets all technical and operational standards.
Identify and mitigate local risks and blockers, ensuring transparent communication with global stakeholders.
Drive accountability among local contractors, partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
AIT Phase - Production Engineer / Assembly Integration and Test
Oversee mechanical, electrical, and system-level assembly processes to ensure compliance with the production and quality standards.
Manage AIT resources, schedules, and priorities to meet production targets.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with central engineering teams.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Systems Engineering (or related field).
~7+ years of experience in facility deployment, manufacturing operations, or spacecraft/satellite integration.
~ Proven ability to manage end-to-end technical deployment projects in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
~ Proficiency in project management tools and methods (Gantt, WBS, Critical Path, risk logs, etc.).
~ Fluent in English; Experience in aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing sectors.
Experience using tools such as Jira and Linux-based systems.
Hands-on experience with lab and test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, etc.).
