The Opportunity We are seeking an accomplished and entrepreneurial General Manager, Europe to spearhead the client's expansion and operations across the region. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role ideal for a dynamic executive who thrives in fast-moving, high-impact environments. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our European strategy, building regional partnerships, driving market entry, and representing the company's vision to stakeholders, regulators, and collaborators across the continent. Key Responsibilities Strategic Expansion : Develop and execute European growth strategy, including market entry, partnerships, and regulatory pathways. Leadership & Operations : Establish and lead the European headquarters and team, ensuring operational excellence across functions such as commercial, medical, regulatory, and business development. Partnership Development : Build strong relationships with biotech and pharma partners, academic institutions, investors, and government bodies. Commercial Growth : Identify and pursue business opportunities, licensing deals, and collaborations that drive sustainable growth. Cultural Integration : Serve as the key bridge between Chinese headquarters and European stakeholders, ensuring alignment in strategy, culture, and communication. Public Representation: Represent the company at industry conferences, regulatory meetings, and media engagements, enhancing our visibility and credibility in Europe. Qualifications 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences sectors. Deep understanding of European regulatory environments, market dynamics, and industry networks. Proven record in establishing and scaling regional operations or subsidiaries for global companies. Strong business development acumen experience in partnerships, licensing, or M&A is a plus. Exceptional communication and cross-cultural leadership skills. Native proficiency in Mandarin ; Fluency in English AND another European language is a strong advantage. The role would require regular interactions with China and Singapore based counterparts in both Commercial and R&D functions.
