(Senior) Engineer

For our Engineering Center in Raunheim, near Frankfurt, we are looking for a (Senior) Engineer – Vehicle Performance, Energy Efficiency & Consumption (WLTP) We welcome you to join a growing team of extraordinarily talented and enthusiastic people, developing tailor-made cars for the European market. We want to work with a flexible and enthusiastic individual wo will be required to support the development of our European vehicles locally as well as globally - jointly with our teams in our headquarter in China. Job Description Develop vehicle performance to satisfy the European customer requirements. Providing support and developing recommendations for Chery's EU CO2 and PT strategy Definition and implementation of EU specific vehicle performance and energy efficiency targets Run detailed benchmark of competing models and brands in Europe Continuous monitoring of new energy efficiency improvement technologies and strategies Manage development projects with third party supplier and engineering service supplier in Europe Close collaboration with development teams in our R&D centers in Wuhu & Shanghai (China) and the Europe market related subsidiaries (Marketing, Sales, Quality) from the technical and commercial perspective Requirements: You have a Degree in Vehicle Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering or comparable background You have significant (>3 years) experience in a similar position for vehicle performance or energy efficiency& consumption development (BEV,PHEV, ICE) You are able to balance vehicle & system targets to achieve regulatory compliance and a high level of customer acceptance. You have a profound knowledge of the emissions regulations(WLTP, RDE,ISC) You have a good knowledge of PT test, application and simulation tools You are willing to travel and have a valid European driving license You are willing to work in an international and intercultural environment You have a pro-active and self-motivated attitude You are a good communicator with an open and structured mindset You have good computer and presentation skills (MS Office, etc.) You are fluent in English Mandarin skills advantageous Join our dynamic team and be a part of our company's growth and success.
