About the opportunity We are seeking a highly accomplished and collaborative Senior Backend Engineer to join our mission-driven team. This team's core mission is to empower new N26 users with intuitive tools and personalized support, ensuring they feel confident and valued from day one.

This role is ideal for an engineer who excels technically but also possesses strong soft skills for stakeholder engagement. You will be a vital contributor, collaborating closely with the Product Owner and UX/UI Designers to translate user needs into seamless and scalable backend systems, directly impacting the foundational experience of every new N26 customer.
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software in a thriving environment.
Proactively engage with technical stakeholders across the organization —finding key contacts, initiating discussions, influencing priorities, and driving alignment necessary for project success.
Experience in developing software using a
Spring Boot
Professional proficiency in English
