About the Role A dynamic financial technology company is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to join its growing team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to strategic compliance initiatives and foster a culture of regulatory awareness across the organization. Key Responsibilities Maintain and enhance the company's compliance strategy and documentation. Support the development of compliance manuals, policies, and procedures. Monitor legal and regulatory developments and assess their impact. Oversee prudential regulations relevant to compliance. Deliver training and guidance to employees on applicable laws and regulations. Develop and manage the outsourcing oversight function in line with internal policies. Prepare regular reports for executive and supervisory boards. Engage in professional development to become a certified compliance expert (e.g., ACAMS, CISI). Candidate Profile Strong academic background, ideally with compliance or legal qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, consultancy, auditing, or financial supervision. Strong understanding of German and EU regulatory frameworks. Strategic thinker with resilience and analytical capabilities. Fluent in German and English.
