The company I am partnered with is looking for an experienced IAM Consultant to strengthen their security and governance capabilities and help shape the future of secure digital access. In this role, you’ll take ownership of IAM processes, drive improvements in identity governance, and play a key role in protecting business-critical systems through effective access management. Your Role – Secure, Streamline, Strengthen As an IAM Specialist, you will be responsible for the design, maintenance, and continuous optimization of identity and access management processes and systems within a large-scale organisation. Key Responsibilities: Act as a key contact for IAM operations, ensuring access requests, approvals, and reviews are handled efficiently and securely Analyse existing identity processes and implement improvements. Support and refine privileged access management (PAM) workflows to strengthen protection of critical accounts Collaborate with IT and business units to design role models, access matrices, and authorisation standards Define KPIs and build dashboards that provide visibility into IAM performance and compliance posture Contribute to audits, control testing, and reporting to governance and risk stakeholders Participate in the definition of future IAM architectures, automation, and process optimization initiatives Advise on IAM best practices and emerging technologies across cloud and hybrid environments Your Background – Analytical, Collaborative, and Technically Grounded You’re comfortable navigating between business and IT — understanding both compliance requirements and technical implementation. Requirements: Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related field Several years’ experience in Identity & Access Management, Information Security, or IT Risk Management Knowledge of IAM tools and frameworks, including role-based access control (RBAC), certification campaigns, and PAM solutions Experience coordinating or leading sub-projects within IAM or IT security programs Analytical mindset with the ability to identify process gaps and drive practical solutions Fluent in German and English, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills Why Apply?
