The Munich based Accounting team is looking for a Financial Analyst Accounting to join our accounting organization and become a major contributor to our Accounting team. Successful candidates in this position will have demonstrable professional experience. They drive the future with passion and engagement. Key job responsibilities
  • Being a strong team player taking ownership and demonstrating self-initiative
  • Drive or participate in national and international accounting project
  • European business partnering within the Amazon group
  • Develop and manage scalable and automated processes
  • International coordination with the global Accounting organization
  • Responsibility for month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing of financial books
  • Assessment and evaluation of GAAP-to-GAAP differences
  • Support improvements in accounting processes, internal workflows and implementation of best practices
About the team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
  • Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
  • Several years of relevant experience in accounting in an international environment at a multinational company
  • Used to work and handle multiple GAAPs
  • IT-literate with solid MS Office skills
  • Strong communication skills in English (C1)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in Turkish GAAP, both TFRS and VUK
  • Fluent in Turkish
