- support the plant management in safety-related issues and in the implementation of legal requirements,
- advise the technical management and production management,
- be the main contact for technology and operations in the development of special safety concepts for machines and processes,
- influence the safety-related design of new projects,
- be in constant contact with the operational organization and the central HS&E functions,
- review and improve our security systems,
- prepare and accompany internal and external audits,
- maintain contact with authorities such as professional associations, supervisory authorities, building authorities and fire departments
- A completed Master's degree - Chemical or Process Engineering, Occupational Safety, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Experience in similar role in the company from manufacturing industry
- Experience in implementing and interpreting machine safety regulations
- Ability to work independently with proven knowledge of applicable laws, standards and technical regulations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across many functions and levels, as well as the ability to demonstrate assertiveness when it comes to facing challenges and finding collaborative solutions
- The ability to understand complex issues, analyze and optimize teamwork processes, set priorities and drive change
- Fluent language skills in English and German are a must
- Previous experience in team management will be an advantage
