Senior Director Technology Management

As a Senior Director of EWM TQTM, you will be managing a team to continuously improve foundry partner yield and quality performance for manufacturing excellence. You will also need to lead the team in technology development and transfer with foundry partners. Furthermore, you will collaborate at all levels, quickly grasp technical challenges, and guide cross-functional teams towards a solution.
In your new role you will:

  • Be responsible for the performance of EWM Power foundry partners to achieve operational excellence, based on KPIs such as yield, quality, technology transfer, and development
  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of technology and quality experts, as well as project managers and product engineers who are in close contact with the foundries
  • Steer cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and escalations
  • Manage the EWM foundry partners in Continuous Improvement Programs
  • Work closely with other EWM teams, such as: operation, sourcing, strategy, and key account managers
  • Act as an interface to our divisions to consult about the best foundry partners or technologies for their growth
  • Act as a key representative to division and Frontend Operational Planning & Controlling (OPC) in regular meetings
  • Be responsible for technology development and transfers

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A solid technical background based on a degree in Physics, Material Science, Electrical Engineering or comparable
  • At least 10 years of professional experience, especially in workining a fab or with foundries
  • Very good knowledge of Power discrete such as Power MOSFET, IGBT as well as wide band gap and power high voltage IC technology development (including transfer, chip design and quality management)
  • Broad understanding of development, technology transfer, changemanagement (PCRB) and quality processes
  • Experience in the areas of process integration, product engineering, wafer sorting and foundry engagement
  • Proven leadership and team player capabilities as well as multicultural experience
  • Fluent English skills, German and Mandarin skills a plus
