We invite applications from highly motivated researchers who pursue molecular, translational, and mechanistic approaches or conduct preclinical and translational studies.
Key Responsibilities- Head the 'Diabetology and Nutrition' department at DIfE
- Enhance collaboration with the German Centre for Diabetes Research (DZD)
- Coordinate the 'Obesity and Diabetes' research focus at DIfE
- Internationally recognized track record in diabetes and metabolism research

DIfE is a leading nutritional research institute in Germany, offering opportunities to work alongside top scientists from various disciplines to develop and realize interdisciplinary research ideas, especially within the DZD framework.
Appointment ProcedureThe joint appointment will be implemented according to the 'Jülich Model', including a teaching obligation at the University of Potsdam. The hiring process adheres to the Brandenburg Higher Education Act (BbgHG).
