Through our expertise and solution-oriented approach, we have established ourselves as one of the leading providers globally, earning the trust of more and more yacht owners and fleet operators. Tasks Processing of Yacht Insurance claims reports (comprehensive, liability, accident) and reporting of claims to our insurance partners Correspondence with claimants, witnesses, liable parties, and requests for documents Assessment of relevant documents concerning coverage and the extent of damage Commissioning of salvage and rescue operations, assistance and experts (if needed) Preparation of a settlement proposal based on terms and conditions of the contract and coordination with the insurers Sending settlement letters to the claimants and issuing payments Evaluation of recourse possibilities and, if necessary, commissioning of lawyers Requirements A (very) good school diploma – ideally a general university entrance qualification Experience in yacht building – boat builder or a nautical degree Experience as a claims adjuster in the insurance industry Interest and enthusiasm for water sports or Yachting Willingness to work into complex technical matters Fluent in spoken and written German and English Benefits An exciting and diverse role in a dynamic environment Attractive development opportunities with corresponding effort and commitment Fair compensation and attractive working conditions A workplace near the water (and soon on our very own office boat) The opportunity to shape a company, its processes and structures Closing Freelance or Employment Both are options we are open to explore with you.
