The Zuse Institute Berlin (ZIB) is an interdisciplinary research institute for applied mathematics and data-intensive high-performance computing (HPC). Research concentrates on modelling, simulation and optimization in collaboration with scientific cooperation partners from academia and industry. The focus here is on the provision of research infrastructures for virtualization, HPC, storage, web services, data networks and much more.

For the Core Facility IT & Data Services (ITDS), we are looking for a permanent position as soon as possible for a

Employee (f/m/d) for Enterprise Hardware Administration and Integration

Reference number: You will also be responsible for the operation, maintenance and further development of our data center infrastructure. In addition, you will help to further develop the areas of enterprise hardware, operating system integration with a focus on Linux and monitoring, driving our 3 MW data center "to the limit".

Successfully completed university studies in a STEM subject with professional experience or successfully completed vocational training as an IT specialist (f/m/d) for system integration with several years of professional experience in system administration or alternatively many years of professional experience in the above-mentioned field of activity, good communication skills in German and English. We offer you
