Responsibility for designing and adapting 12V and 48V power distribution systems, taking into account software-based vehicle architectures
Overseeing power distribution components (power distributors, batteries, isolation switches, etc., excluding wiring harnesses) and ensuring compliance with standby current limits
Testing power distribution systems in climate chambers, on test drives, and through software-based simulations to ensure adequate power supply to all electrical low-voltage consumers
Coordinating and approving specific coding in power distribution control software, creating specifications and requirements documents
Project coordination and supplier management, ensuring cost and schedule compliance, coordinating with vehicle and engine wiring harness development, and closely collaborating with the car development team
Creating test specifications, coordinating and conducting component and system tests
Participating in test drives both domestically and internationally
Requirements:
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
Strong knowledge of power distribution system development and a solid understanding of vehicle electrical systems
Analytical, structured work approach with a passion for independent work
Strong team and communication skills, self-motivation, determination, and assertiveness
Fluency in German and English
